Fuel-laden barge stranded near Bella Bella, B.C., help on the way

The vessel Jake Shearer with 3.5 million litres of diesel and 468,000 litres of gasoline on board broke free from its tugboat Sunday afternoon. Maritime rescue officials say the barge is anchored in place 1.6 kilometres from nearby islands.
