Firefighters have managed to extinguish a brush fire on Hamber Island just northwest of Belcarra that broke out around 3:30 p.m. PT. Saturday. Fire Chief Jay Sharpe with the Sasamat Volunteer Fire Department says it's believed the fire was human caused.and more »
