BC Ferries is making less money despite record passenger numbers

BC Ferries just posted its latest quarterly results, which include record levels of vehicles on-board and the highest passenger figures in two decades. However, net earnings for the corporation plunged to $6 million for the first quarter of 2018 from $17 million a year ago.
