Attempted murder case against Oliver man likely to be dropped

The crown is doubtful charges of attempted murder against Afshin Ighani will stand now that the victim has died from an unrelated cause. Without Thomas Szajko’s testimony, there may be little evidence in the case. Shelby Thom reports.
