'Spiritual experience': Grand River Pow Wow draws thousands to Six Nations

Jeffrey Plain was one of more than 300 dancers to participate in the Grand River Champion of Champions Pow Wow on the weekend but in a day full of vibrant colors the 38-year-old stood out for a couple of reasons.A member of the Canadian Armed Forces, the warrant officer was the head veteran at the pow wow.In that role, Plain, carrying an Eagle staff, led the grand entry of dancers into the circle to start the pow wow on Saturday.
