Run like the wind

Detective-Constable Geoff Johnston of the Brantford Police Service and Special Olympian Neil McDonald carry the torch to kick off a fundraising torch run at the Bisons Alumni North Park Sports Complex on Friday morning. They were joined by other Brantford Police service members and students at North Park Collegiate. In 2025, similar events across the province raised a total of $3.2 million that help cover uniforms, facility rentals, and travel costs for Special Olympics athletes.
