Riding to be without MP starting Friday when Larry Brock officially leaves office

Brantford-Brant South will be without Member of Parliament as of Friday. Larry Brock, first elected in 2021, announced in early August he would be resigning from the role effective Sept. 18 to return to his role in the Crown Attorney’s Office in Brantford where he promised to “continue to be an advocate of change.” Brock’s resignation triggered a byelection which must be held by mid-April. A date has not yet been set.Brock is the third Conservative MP to resign this summ
