Oxford County approves new Reconciliation framework

A week ahead of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Oxford County adopted a new framework intended to embed reconciliation efforts into local governance.Oxford County council approved its first Indigenous Reconciliation Framework document, which requires employees across the organization to share responsibility and translate its suggestions into action, during its Sept. 23 meeting.In the spring, Oxford County staff hired NVision Insight Group Inc. to work with staff on the document.
