Free hockey league gets underway

Free Sport for Growth’s free, eight-week neighbourhood hockey league began on Sunday with 47 players in attendance at the TD Civic Centre. Players in Grades 7 and 8 are eligible to play and spaces are still available. Those interested in playing should be able to skate but if a lack of equipment is an issue, Free Sport for Growth can help. Email rossenslev@gmail.com for more information.
