Fowl play: First-ever DuckFest in Brantford was a hit

For the first time in nearly a quarter-century, a rubber duck race was held on the Grand River in downtown Brantford on Sunday.A whopping 3,000 yellow birds were dumped from the Lorne Bridge high above, with the top three finishers downstream underneath the Veterans Memorial Parkway earning cash for their sponsors.
