Drug trafficking arrest made in downtown Brantford

A 55-year-old Brantford man faces charges as the result of a drug trafficking investigation in downtown Brantford on Tuesday.Members of the Brantford Police Core Engagement and Response Team (CERT) identified and arrested the suspect on Sept. 1 for allegedly trafficking illegal drugs in Victoria Park near Market Street.Following the arrest, officers seized 3.9 grams of fentanyl, 8.4 grams of cocaine, 12 hydromorphone pills, a set of brass knuckles, Canadian currency, and drug paraphernalia.
