Brant OPP lay charge in home renovation fraud

A 23-year-old Vaughan resident has been charged as the result of a home renovation fraud investigation.Brant County OPP received a complaint from a Paris, Ontario resident about home renovations and repairs that allegedly were not carried out despite having been paid for.Following an investigation, police allege that EcoGuard Contractors made an unsolicited offer of their services, which were paid for by the homeowner but not completed as agreed.The accused has been charged with fraud over $5,0
