West Nile Virus found in birds in Sault, district
Two wild birds in Sault Ste. Marie and East Algoma have tested positive for West Nile Virus.The virus is spread to humans through the bite of an infected mosquito, Algoma Public Health says. Prevention tips include wearing light-coloured clothing outdoors, apply mosquito repellent and limit time outdoors from sunset to sunrise.
