Southeast Public Health redeploying workers as nurses' union objects
Southeast Public Health senior staff are redeploying workers at many of the health unit’s satellite offices, The Intelligencer has learned, and the Ontario Nurses’ Association is opposing the change. Senior staff had planned to close eight offices, seven of them leased, in March. Medical officer of health Dr. Piotr Oglaza said it was an operational matter, not a governance one, and therefore not a board decision.
