Police seeking info in sexual assault

City police are asking for the public’s assistance following the report of a sexual assault from last month.
Belleville police report officers are investigating a sexual assault allegation, which is reported to have occurred on August 31 at approximately 7:30 pm, at the Quinte Exhibition grounds located at Bridge Street West and Sidney Street.
The incident took place at the port-a-potty’s on the west side of the grand stands during the demolition derby.
