Belleville-born student's TEDx talk proposes ideas for Caribbean climate response

After living through the physical and economic devastation wreaked by hurricanes, Belleville-born student Michael Saunders is advocating for changes in how countries can mitigate the storms’ economic impacts.The 21-year-old was raised in the Turks and Caicos Islands.He’s now trying to raise awareness of how Caribbean countries, as well as Canada and other nations, can work together to lessen the economic impact of climate change.Saunders is entering his fifth year at the University
