Belleville awards CIP rebates to proposed manufacturing facility backers

A $10.7 million manufacturing facility proposed in Belleville will receive a funding boost from rebates offered by the City of Belleville.As part of the Employment Lands Community Improvement Plan (CIP), $202,115 in funding was approved by city council Monday to be awarded to two companies BCS Automation Ltd. and Bowland Company Ltd. for a 38,000 square-foot facility at 435 Station St.The grant will be comprised of four rebates reducing the financial outlay of development charges, planning fees
