Belleville-area hockey legend Dennis Hull remembered

Point Anne native and professional all-star hockey player Dennis Hull is being remembered for his stellar career in the National Hockey League.Mr. Hull died on Sat., May 30.He was 81.Mr. Hull was the brother of “Golden Jet” Bobby Hull and uncle of nephew Brett Hull but was a superstar on ice in his own right with the Chicago Blackhawks from 1964 to 1977 earning the nickname “Silver Jet” for his fearsome slap shot.He scored 283 goals with Chicago and appeared in five NHL
