Canmore moves towards organics diversion

Council for the Town of Canmore discussed increasing the budget to provide engagement and promotional information regarding organics diversion on November 29.
Administration explored several organics diversion program options and concluded a full commercial program and a pilot residential program struck the right balance between reducing the Town’s carbon footprint, meeting community expectations and managing costs.
