Voters aged 60 and up drove election results in Bancroft

Results from Bancroft’s recent municipal election were driven mostly by older voters.
That’s clear from a report going to town council next week.
An election debrief shows voting turnout numbers by age bracket and the 60s age group had the highest turnout with about 400 out of nearly 900 eligible voters casting ballots.  Another 300-some votes came from people in their 70s; a number that represents about half of eligible voters in that bracket.
