Some hospital workers getting wage increases and benefit improvements

Some hospital workers are getting a six per cent wage increase, over two years after bargaining deals, it was announced this past Friday morning.
The deal includes three per cent raises for some unionized Ontario hospital workers each year, as well as improvements to health and dental benefits, enhancements to weekend, evening, and night premiums, and pay for periods of quarantine or isolation.
At the Bancroft hospital, workers represented by SEIU will receive the wage increases.
