Seniors Program accepting applications for funding in August  

Groups that are planning projects to benefit seniors can soon apply for federal funding.  
The office of Hastings-Lennox & Addington MP Shelby Kramp-Neuman has announced details on the New Horizons for Seniors Program.  
It can award funding of up to $25,000. 
An open call for proposals starts Aug. 1 and runs until Sept. 14.  
To be eligible, a project must address one or more of the program’s five objectives.
