‘Just in time to save the house’ Opeongo Rd fire leads to level 1 Fire Ban in the township of Madawaska Valley

There was a massive fire in Madawaska Valley yesterday.Fire Chief Corwin Quade says the department was called to the fire on Opeongo rd just after 2:30 pm.  
Killalloe, Hagarty an Richards was called for back up pumpers, tankers and fire fighters.Chief Quade said Killaloe came with 11 firefighters and Madawaska Valley had 13 on site.
