‘Great day’ in Bancroft raises money for guide dogs 

The Bancroft Walk for Guide Dogs last Sunday raised over $3,300 according to Lions Club member Laverne Stapely.  
Stapely said it was a 'great day' with many people and dogs out raising money for the guide dog program.
Stapely walked in the event with his new puppy, Cinder, age four months, but, according to Stapely they didn’t make it too far before Cinder got ‘tuckered out’.
Cinder is a guide dog in training and will one day be part of the guide
