Bancroft submits grant for accessible playground 

Bancroft has submitted a grant application that, if successful, will lead to a new accessible playground at Riverside Park. 
The town hopes to build a structure which would be accessible to kids with physical disabilities. The play area would also include a sensory wall. The existing swings at the park would remain on site.  
Town clerk Jennifer Peplinski said the application to the Ontario Trillium Foundation requests $148,600 and she hopes to hear back by late September. &
