Bancroft elevating York River water levels

Water levels in the York River are beginning to rise.  
The Town of Bancroft worked with partners to lower the water last month so work could begin to fix a damaged water structure. 
However, the town now says work has progressed to a point where a low-water level is no longer necessary. 
Dams are being adjusted to get water back to normal levels. The town says that process will continue over several days.
