Backpacks for Success extends registration deadline 

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward’s Backpacks for Success program, which provides essential school supplies to anyone who needs them in the community, has announced the extension of the closing date for registration.  
They say this is in response to overwhelming demand and the importance of ensuring that every student in need receives a backpack. The new closing date is July 12.
