Thousands expected to hit streets for Saskatoon Pride parade

Over 5,000 people are expected to march in the 2017 Saskatoon Pride parade this weekend.
 
The 17th annual parade starts at 1 p.m. Saturday at 24th Street and Spadina Crescent East before moving throughout the downtown core.
 
"Happy Pride," said Saskatoon Pride Co-Chair, Danny Papadatos with enthusiasm. "We're so excited for this weekend."
 
The parade will impact traffic downtown and Saskatoon Pride is asking people to plan a ride as parking will be limited.
