Young: Hudson mourns its mayor as council term nears conclusion
The festival we call Thanksgiving has ended. The leftover turkey, the salads and veggies and oversized pumpkin pies, have all been disposed of. By now, guests and visiting relatives are long gone home and the precious china and glassware have been gingerly returned to their dining room cabinets. Slowly, as we move through October, mid sleeping flowerbeds and wind-swept leaves, a sense of normalcy settles in.
