You probably won’t be hit by space debris this weekend, but there’s a slim chance — quite slim, actually — that Montrealers could see the remains of a space station burn up in the atmosphere just to the south of us.
China’s out-of-control Tiangong-1 space station went rogue in 2016 and it’s now falling back to Earth. It’s expected to make landfall sometime this long weekend, with April 1 the most likely date (no joke). The station weighs 8.5 metric tons
