The Canadiens beat the Pittsburgh Penguins in a shootout win Saturday at the Bell Centre, clawing back from an early deficit. Paul Byron scored the winning goal.
Backup goaltender Antti Niemi was pressed into action after Carey Price was scratched because of the flu. Playing for the first time in a month, Niemi survived a shaky first period and then shut down the high-powered Penguins en route to the shootout.
