Update: Widespread Hydro outages caused by severed power line

Update: By 1:30 p.m., there were 1,900 customers without power in Montreal. 
A single power line accidentally severed by a Hydro-Québec employee working in an east-end power station plunged more than a quarter of a million Hydro-Québec customers in Montreal into darkness and cold coffee Tuesday morning.
