Update: Rick Dudley leaves Canadiens to join Hurricanes' front office

When general manager Marc Bergevin said there would be changes for the Canadiens during the off-season, he probably didn’t think they would involve his friend and mentor Rick Dudley. But the 69-year-old Dudley stepped down as the team’s senior vice-president of hockey operations to accept a similar position with the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.
