Update: Protect French by speaking English, Macron says during Couillard visit

PARIS — Minutes after Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard told reporters on Monday that the worldwide use of French needs to be protected, French President Emmanuel Macron suggested that one way to do that is to speak English.
