Universal Music admits 'errors' in excluding French music from Canada 150 set

In the wake of criticism of its French-free June 30 release of Canada 150: A Celebration Of Music box set to mark the country’s 150th anniversary, Universal Music Canada has issued a full-on apology.
The package was criticized for excluding French-language music. It did feature Quebec artists including Sam Roberts, Gino Vannelli and Leonard Cohen, but all singing in English. Even Céline Dion made the cut — with Titanic theme song My Heart Will Go On.&
