Ugo Fredette transferred to St-Jérôme detention centre

Ugo Fredette, facing a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the death of Véronique Barbe, is being transferred to the St-Jérôme detention centre Saturday afternoon.
“He will be transferred this afternoon if he hasn’t already been transferred,” said Segerant Stéphane Tremblay, a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
Fredette, 41, was taken to a hospital in Ottawa a week ago after attempting to commit suicide
