Two people found dead in Brossard home

Longueuil police have set up a crime scene and a command post after the bodies of two people were found in a residence in Brossard early Monday. Police spokesperson Jacqueline Pierre said officers were sent to Bienvenue Ave. around 12:45 a.m. to investigate a report of an armed assault. Police found the bodies of a 56-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, both of which had signs of injuries. The force’s major crimes unit has been deployed.
