Smoking marijuana increases the risk of crashing the car for young drivers even five hours after inhaling, a new study has determined.
The McGill University research study found that performance declined significantly for things like reaction time as much as five hours after smoking one joint. Driving performance deteriorated when the subjects were exposed to road distractions.
