Stabbing victim recovering after attack in N.D.G.

A 20-year-old man is in stable condition in a hospital after surviving a knife attack at about 7 a.m. Sunday on Décarie Blvd. in N.D.G.
Montreal police spokesperson Andrée-Anne Picard said the injuries were to the man’s upper body and are not life-threatening.
Police closed northbound lanes of Décarie Blvd. between Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Monkland Aves. until 11:30 a.m. and set up a security perimeter. The canine unit was called in.
