SQ union members ratify deal with salary increases

The Quebec government announced on Saturday the tentative agreement reached with the union representing police officers of the Sûreté du Québec that would guarantee a 17.5-per-cent salary increase over seven years has been ratified by the union members.
Both parties reached a tentative agreement in May.
