SQ investigating murder near Sept-Îles

SEPT-ÎLES — A 22-year-old man was murdered in Uashat, an Innu community near Sept-Îles, around 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
Uashat police were called to a residence where the man was found severely injured, with marks on his body indicating violence. 
The victim was transported to the Sept-Îles Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Sûreté du Québec’s crimes against persons division has taken over the investigation.
