Snow, freezing rain headed for Montreal: Environment Canada

A low pressure system over the central United States and heading toward New England has led Environment Canada to issue a special weather statement early Friday for the Montreal area (Montreal island, Longueuil-Varennes, Laval and Châteauguay – La Prairie) forecasting snow later in the day that may turn to freezing rain by Saturday.
Environment Canada is predicting five to 10 centimetres of snow over southern Quebec beginning Friday afternoon and continuing overnight.
