Shooting outside N.D.G. bar sends one to hospital

A 29-year-old man is recovering from his injuries after being shot at least once in the upper body in an apparent murder attempt outside a west-end bar.
Police were called to the Rustik Pub and Grill on Sherbrooke St. W. near Oxford St. at about 1:45 a.m. where they found the victim outside the establishment.
Investigators have deployed tracking dogs and are examining footage from local surveillance cameras in an effort to establish what happened and identify possible suspects.
