Rosemont ghost bike ceremony to remember dead cyclist

Family and friends of Valérie Bertrand Desrochers, a cyclist who was killed in June after being struck by a truck driver, will install a ghost bike Sunday afternoon in her memory.
Bertrand Desrochers, who worked as a 911 operator, died on June 11 after she was hit at the intersection of Saint-Zotique St. and 19th Ave. in Rosemont. The ceremony begins at 1 p.m.
The Montreal woman was riding along the bike path on St-Zotique St. when the truck turned right and struck her.
