RAMQ receives first bills for medical services offered to migrants

The Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) has begun receiving the first bills from physicians and pharmacists for offering services to newly arrived migrants who are not covered by the federal program that provides health care to asylum seekers.As of Aug. 31, RAMQ had received 100 requests for payment, for a total of $7,000.
