Quebec's medicare card get to a makeover

For the first time in 40 years, Quebec is changing the look of the province’s medicare cards so it can add new security features and a black and white photo, which has better resolution.
The card will look more like a provincial driver’s licence and the iconic dark brown and orange background will be replaced by a pale gold and yellow colour. The bright sun, which has been a key feature of the card for decades, will still be present on the new cards, according to Caroline Dupont
