Quebec to consider increasing minimum vacation time
QUEBEC — Some Quebecers could be getting an extra week of paid vacation.
The Couillard government is considering increasing the minimum number of vacation weeks in the act respecting labour standards.
At present, the law provides for a minimum of two weeks of continuous vacation for workers with one year to four years on the job, and three continuous weeks for five years and more.
