Quebec strategy for equality disappoints LGBT rights group
A provincial group representing LGBT rights says it is disappointed Quebec failed to include trans people in a governmental strategy for equality between men and women.
The government missed a perfect opportunity to modernize its vision of equality to include trans people, said Alexe Dubois of the Conseil Québécois LGBT, an umbrella group representing about 35 community groups.
