Quebec groups form coalition to fight violence against women

In the run-up to International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 8, several groups working on behalf of women subjected to violence have announced the establishment of the Coalition féministe contre la violence envers les femmes.
The coalition brings together 15 organizations working to help women subjected to conjugal violence or sexual assault, in addition to other groups of women, including those with mental health issues, women with disabilities, immigrants and Indigenous women.
