Quebec election: Lafrenière decries 'political interference' in policing

CAQ candidate Ian Lafrenière says the thing he hated most when working as a police officer was “political interference.”
The former Montreal police spokesperson, who is now running in the Vachon riding, said in an interview with TVA that politics and policing “don’t go together.”
If elected, he said he’ll make sure not to interfere in police matters.
